Sagard has signed the charter of the French Association of Investors for Growth (AFIC), which emphasises the sharing of created value, long-term growth and business development, good governance and transparency. In addition, in May 2017, Sagard pledged to support the International Climate Initiative (formerly IC20), with the goal of representing the private equity industry in addressing climate change, one of the most important international challenges of the next few decades.
Sagard is attentive to the preservation of biodiversity in its activities and investments.
Sagard also signed the France Invest Gender Equality Charter in December 2019, as well as the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in July 2020

Sagard is currently examining the opportunity to submit the negative sustainability impact statement stipulated in Article 4 of EU Regulation 2019/2088.
